Tim hopes the 19-year-old will continue to spread her musical wings and release an album of her own someday. When E! News recently asked McGraw about his daughter potentially making her own music, he said, “I think she should make an album. I’m trying to talk her into it.” Then, when asked if he’d produce Gracie’s album, Tim said, “I don’t know that she’d let me produce that. She’s a better artist than I am a producer.”

If Not for You is a collection of songs she recorded before Joey and Rory became famous.

Rory Feek writes in the album’s booklet, “It’s one of the great joys of my life to dust these songs off and bring them to life again. Not just the songs, but also the stories and the life of the special woman that these songs represent.”

Joey died a year ago on March 4th of stage four cervical cancer.
